COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES AND YOUR ROADMAP TO RECEIVING TREATMENT

As you can imagine a lot has changed due to COVID-19 and I have adapted my standard protocols and procedures to keep everyone healthy and safe. I appreciate your patience, understanding, and compliance as we navigate this time together.

Appointments and clinic days are very limited in order to provide the highest quality service during this time. All appointments must be scheduled in advance.

All protocols followed are as outlined by the CDC and NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. Please read the following below carefully and contact me with any concerns whatsoever.

Here is your road map to receiving acupuncture treatments:

  1. If you are a new patient please call me at (503)539-7646 for initial contact, and I will send you a link to schedule your first appointment. You will need to read a few documents and “sign” them, online, including a COVID19 consent to treat form. The rest of your intake will be done in person at the time of your first visit. If you are a returning patient please click on the “returning patient” link in the banner at the top of any of my web pages (text me for the password). It will direct you to a return visit scheduling page. Payment for your session will be made at time of scheduling.

  2. If you wake up the day of your scheduled appointment with cold or flu symptoms or just aren’t feeling well, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. There will be no penalties for cancellations of this nature.

  3. Upon arrival to the clinic please wait in your car. Have your mask secured and call or text me at (503)539-7646, and I will come outside to greet you.

CLINIC POLICIES AND SANITATION PRACTICES:

  • Masks must be worn at all times in and outside of the treatment room throughout the clinic, unless the client has a documented reason that prohibits it. I will be wearing a KN95 underneath a three layer tightly woven cotton face mask.

  • If you have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, I ask that you please reschedule your appointment.

  • Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals. Please be on time to your appointment.

  • Each surface is thoroughly sanitized and linens/blankets entirely changed over prior to your arrival.

  • My hands and forearms will be thoroughly washed and sanitized before and after each client.

  • A medical quality HEPA filter will be utilized in the treatment.

  • I will not be providing water or tea, so please be sure to bring your own, to enjoy outside the clinic, in order to adequately hydrate.

I know this is a huge shift from what you are used to. I thank you for participating in creating a safe and healthy experience for everyone. Special thanks to Krista Buccari for allowing me to borrow most of her language about COVID19 protocols.
